With the combination of modern technology and robotics, the Infrastructure Preservation Corporation has re-invented the way that infrastructure inspections should be performed worldwide. In short IPC provides the quantitative information required for the department of transportation to properly assess the real condition of their assets and properly allocate their budgets.
By managing maintenance and repairs in order of severity and importance the DOT can extend the service life of these assets and prevent untimely replacements saving billions in untimely replacements.
Bridge Inspections are conducted every two years on every bridge in the national bridge inventory. High mast light poles every 5 years. With IPC's technology we can do away with manual subjective inspections, limit lane closures and parking heavy equipment on bridges and most importantly keep the public safe. IPC conducts these inspections within the current department of transportation's maintenance budget. In effect for the same price as the manual inspection.
